Hello My Name is Robyn
Working in Primary Health Care for over 15 years as a nurse, I saw many patients come in time and again with the same health problems, also watching my mother pass away at only 48 years of age from complications following breast cancer inspired me to not be on that road.
I would always say to myself “ I won't be that person who is unwell”. I wanted to be here to watch my children grow older and meet my grandchildren.
(Something my mother never was able to)
However life got in the way, the busyness, the stress, running from one task to another, and putting myself last all the time. In my forties, I began to drink alcohol to soothe myself and I honestly never stopped to watch what was happening.
Then six years ago, my life took a turn when I faced breast cancer not once, but twice within a few years of each other.
Following being unwell for more than a year after my second breast cancer diagnosis I was determined to break free from the life I was living, to move away from the cycle of medications, lose the weight I had gained during my menopause and breast cancer treatment, quit alcohol and embrace a holistic approach to health.
I embarked on a personal journey of discovery. From being reliant on multiple medications, binge drinking alcohol, no regular exercise, caught up in working long hours , and being overweight, I've transitioned to a life where eating whole organic foods, bringing lots of movement into every day, and living mindfully are my allies.
I feel joy and happiness every day.
Has it been easy?? No.
But I was determined to change my life and my story not be one of chronic disease.
Now my determination and passion lies in guiding women personally and in the workplace through their midlife health journeys, sharing the wisdom gained from my own experiences. I understand the fear that lingers after a cancer diagnosis, the impact of medications on our bodies, and the importance of rewriting our health narratives.
Rebalanceher Women's Health Coaching is more than a service; it's a commitment to fostering self-awareness and empowering women to listen to their bodies.
I believe that many of us navigate life solely through our thoughts, overlooking the profound connection between mind and body.
My mission is to guide you towards mindfulness and presence, unlocking the potential for holistic health transformation.
Let's embark on this journey together—a journey towards renewed health, resilience, and a deeper understanding of oneself.
Welcome to Rebalanceher, where empowerment and well-being merge.
With warmth
